” On 07/07/07, the japanese experimental noise group BOREDOMS held an incredible, once in a life-time performance underneath the brooklyn bridge consisting of 77 drummers including the likes of Hisham Baroocha (Soft Circle, Black Dice) Brian Chippendale (Lighting Bolt) Kid Millions (Oneida) Alison Busch (Awesome Colour) and even Andrew WK plus a whole bunch more credible experimentalists. the giant ‘Drum Dragon’ was conducted by Yamatsuka Eye of the bordoms, and according to those who both participated and spectated “was the best show ever’. Well one thing’s for sure, we wish we could have seen this awesome spectacle! just incredible!”

“The “This is for you” exhibition in association with Fly53 was held at the Studio 4 Gallery in Birmingham’s Custard Factory between August 13th and 24th.
The show featured many collaborations with Paul Roberts’ Monsters Monsters, with over 50 international artists taking part, including Travis Millard, Michael Sieben, Jon Burgerman, Ian Stevenson, Heidi Kenney, Kate Sutton, The Outcrowd Collective, Cupco, Waste, Dan Goodsell, Mr Penfold and many more!
The varied exhibition included plush toys, character art, street art, skate art, fine art and illustration. The show was also in conjunction with the first exhibition from the Birmingham based collective Them Lot including live music from The Outdoor Types and Andre Aristotle.
