Cue Darth Vader?
So George Lucas was right? Well no not at all….but it seems there could be evidence of a real life death star! Scienctists in Villenova University have revealed the star, called T Pyxidis is a lot closer than once thought, and is about 20 years overdue an explosion?!
T Pyxidis is really two stars, one called a white dwarf that is sucking in gas and steadily growing. When it reaches a critical mass it will blow itself to pieces. This would melt the ozone layer and pretty much fry the earth…
At least it may be a brief (very) bit of warmth from this Ice age we have been having…
