The first episode of FLY53 TV is nearly ready to go live online! But here’s a sneak preview!

So, what is FLY53 TV?

FLY53 TV is a collaboration with CLUB NME Milan, bringing you live music from some of the hottest, most innovative bands around right now. Mix in interviews with the bands about their influences and plans to take over the world and you’ve got yourself a show!

In the first episode, we bring you CRYSTAL FIGHTERS, hailing from, well everywhere to be honest! (but now based in London). Countless superlatives have been thrown at these guys since they’ve started out, and they’ve been hailed as the “single most exciting live show of dance” by Mixmag! Knowing Mixmag’s high standards, that’s a real accolade for anyone to achieve!

Things Get Crazy with CLUB NME Milan!

The Club NME Milan staff recently threw a FLY53 dress code (or so it seemed) house party at a beautiful Loft apartment in Milan, owned by one of the guys from Smoking Kills Records and sent us over these great pics! The Club NME staff got together with some indie label friends, djs, bands members and promoters to get the right vibe to start the new season, which premiered friday Oct 1st with ‘Jamaica’ live at Tunnel Club in Milan. Deep House and Indie rocked the night before things got a little crazy with some pizza…we can’t tell you too much, but let’s just say we are very lucky there wasn’t a pizza related fire!

‘Jamaica’ Headline Club NME @ ‘Tunnel Club’ Milan October 1st!

We are pleased to announce that FLY53 are still down with CLUB NME Milan, and together, we are throwin’ a bit of a party on October 1st…tonight!! CLUB NME have coerced Paris Duo ‘Jamaica’ to headline the event. If you don’t know them, Mix equal parts, hooky guitar riffs, spine-rumbling bass grooves and garnish with super producers from Daft Punk and Justice…the result tastes sweet! Check out track ‘I Think I Like U 2′ to get a taste of what this band are about!

This night promises to be huge, especially with support acts DID and NEMSI, the hard rockin’ Club NME staff, and the fact that it’s all going down in one of the best clubs in Italy, The Tunnel Club is the spark to set it all off!
