The Big Freeze
OMG! Could it be any colder? Seriously, Christmas is less than a month away and we’re very excited but c’mon this weather is just too much to cope with! The Big Freeze is playing havoc with our hair (the wind swept look wasn’t our intention) our make-up (completely blown off before we’ve even sat down at our desk) and we don’t know about you but we’ve started to dress for warmth over style (god forbid!) something has to be done! And staying at home in our pj’s isn’t an option – sadly.
According to the morning weather girl, the big freeze is going to continue for another two weeks! Two more weeks? We need a FLY53 guide to dressing in these arctic conditions, and fast.
FLY53′s guide to dressing during the Big Freeze
First of all it’s all about the basics, wear leggings or super thick tights, two pairs if need be! A pair of clumpy boots (must be flat, don’t wear heels you’ll look ridiculous) if you haven’t got grips on your soles DIY them yourself by scoring them with the tip of a sharp knife (it works believe us).
