If you hadn’t already heard on Monday night we decided it was about time to let our hair down and set free the wild beast that is Fly53 on the unsuspecting students of Huddersfield. We headed over to our Fly53 House of Fraser concessions there in the town centre, hooked up the sound system, popped a few bottles and began a little lesson in all things Fly53.
The evening went with a bang – beers were handed out on arrival courtesy of Hand Drawn Monkey (one of the best bars in town) because they like us know thats the first thing we all really want after a long day on our feet. On top of that we ran a 20% student discount on everything all night long as well as offering the first 53 people to spend an exclusive free Fly53 Tee… God we’re good to you.
Responsible for really getting the party going and warming up the decks were DJ’s Essdee and Heritage who got us all on our feet and in the mood for a good night. By the time Savvy (who was his usual amazing self) hit up the mic the night was in full swing and everyone was feeling petty dam good. Especially after he then gave out signed copies of his up and coming album, which pretty much made our day.
If you couldn’t make this one – never fear. Over the next few months we’ll be running in store events up and down the country not stopping until we’ve well and truly spread the Fly53 message – Expect Chaos Join the resistance.
