We’ve worked with some pretty sick people over the years but this guy (it has to be said) is easily one of our favourites. All round lyrical G, Professor Green or Pro Green to his mates has been gracing our ears with the sickest beats for nearly a decade now, blowing the competition out the water and schooling the new talent along the way.

With two chart topping albums already under his belt Green is currently recording his third solo album including rumoured collaborations with the likes of Lily Allen, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey and Emeli Sande. And boasting production talent from Mike Skinner, Pharrell Williams, Slipkot and Skrillex but to name a few – it’s safe to say we’re excited.

We we’re pretty chuffed at the opportunity to hook up with the hottest man in rap to do what we do best, kit him out in the finest Fly53 threads and serve up you guys a little insight into what life’s like after two major albums, and a phenomenal amount of awards and nominations. His life is pretty amazing and now to top it all off he can add to the list bedding Chelsea’s finest Millie Mackintosh. Fuck our lives.

We were highly entertained when we got wind of Professor Greens ‘rap battle’ on the BBC news. He’s well known for his freestyle rap battles, and launches a humorous lyrical attack on the presenter, very entertaining.

We’ll give some credit to the presenter for even attempting the duel. Professor Green is becoming more and more popular by the day and this video shows his talent even when put on the spot…. on the news.

Prof. Green Spotted In Old Boys T-Shirt

The Big Issue is one of those magazines that you pass by most days, what you don’t know is that it is actually a decent read. Gone are the days when the magazine was all filler no killer…as this article proves, there’s plenty of material that proves they have got their finger on the pulse…

Professor Green is a huge up and coming crossover artist, with a few well known tunes already under his belt, most noticeably the collaboration with ‘Just Be Good To Green’ with Lily Allen…..(although our favourite is the remastered Upper Clapton Dance…a true BANGER!)

True respect to Professor Green for not only reppin’ FLY53 in the interview, but for appearing in The Big Issue, a magazine that doesn’t get enough respect. We hope to get our own FLY53 interview with him soon…
