Roots Manuva

Rodney Hylton Smith, better known by his stage name Roots Manuva, is an urban british rapper of unrivaled quality from Stockwell, Saaaf London. Best known for his socio-political lyrics and fearless writing, Rodney encompasses dub, ragga, funk and hip hop as it floats through dope filled club warehouses. Roots Manuva has collaborated with Fly53 since the beginning and we’re still as proud of it now as we were way back then.

Roots Manuva is set to play at Bestival; the banging four-day music festival set on the Isle of White and Beacons Festival; which is taking place on a new less floodable location in North Yorkshire, amongst other tour dates this summer.

Roots Manuva is set to headline Beacons Festival, Yorkshire. 17^th – 19^th August. If you fancy this cutting-edge festival, get your waders on, 2011 was cancelled due to extreme flooding.

Hudson Mohawke headlines Simple things festival. A one-day music and visual festival situated in the heart of Bristol. 6-7^th May

Keiser chiefs are playing at T in the park, Scotland. Aptly named after the brewing company Tennents. 6^th – 8^th July.

Causing chaos is second nature to us. Let it be known with this perfect festival accompaniment.

Roots Manuva

Roots Manuva brings his socially conscious and musically experimental British hip hop to the Jazz World stage @ Glastonbury this year and his man on the decks was rocking the Fly53 Bumper Stuff jacket.
