DJ Yoda

Cut and Paste with DJ Yoda

DJ Yoda is one of Britain’s most admired, original club DJs and an audio-visual pioneer. DJ Yoda has transformed clubbing as we know it, throwing down styles as diverse as Hip-Hop, Funk, Baltimore Club, Drum n Bass and even Country music, all cut-up with a awe-inspiring selection of film, TV show and You Tube visuals that elevate his sets to the uniquely sublime.

A judge for three years-worth of DMC DJ World Finals, tipped by Q Magazine as one of ‘The 10 DJs you must see before you die’ and voted alongside DJ Premier as ‘One of the Top Three DJs in the World’ in Hip-Hop Connection magazine, DJ Yoda represents a new brand of mix-master who can happily play any kind of music to make people dance.

In True Yoda style we see him here cutting and pasting his wardrobe with the Fly53 Tech 7 Shirt.

Ketamine – Just Say Neigh

The veterinary drug ketamine has long skulked around dance music’s fringes, but Fly53 is making a statement with their new t-shirt design Ketamine – Just Say Neigh and below we can see Resistance members supporting the cause.

At the age of 15, under the name DJ Itchy, he was the youngest ever UK DMC finalist. DJ Itchy became Hudson Mohawke after seeing the name engraved on a statue in the hallway of his accommodation. A purveyor of the Hip Hop offshoot that is sometimes known as aqua-crunk-step or Glitch Hop, Hudson Mo was signed to Warp Records.

Word on the street is that Hudson Mohawke is deemed the freshest producer to have emerged from the UK for years and has a queue of A-listers wanting to work with him. Hudson Mohawke recently held his EP Launch Party in London and wore his Fly53 Ketamine t-shirt.
