KICKBALL CONTROVERSY

By Brian Boff | 2 Oct 2006 15:46

The much under-publicised 1970 Bolivan Olympic Games was the last time the now outlawed sport of "Full Contact Kickball" was seen in any competitive shape or form.

The Games were brutally dominated by the legendary FLY53 Team, (dubbed "The Wolf Team" due to the beast-like appearance of their Captain Lenny Grubbs), scoring a record number of points and inflicting an unprecedented amount of injuries on opposing team members.

Kidnapped

Upon returning victorious to their native soil, controversy ensued when the seemingly invincible "Wolfman Grubbs" was kidnapped by a radical Anti-Kickball protest group.

His fate remains a mystery to this day, although rumours suggest he was neutered and is currently working as a florist in Kidderminster.
