Last time, FLY53 introduced you to local artist Paul Townend (more of his street art next time) whose art makes you smile. This week its the turn of Travis Louie from New York. His art revolves around his imaginary world in Victorian and Edwardian times. Louie seems fascinated with human oddities such as those in fabled freak shows, mythical beings and the general abnormal. Its a world apart from the last work featured in our Culture Shock section, and leaves you feeling slightly creeped out…but at the same time curious to see more. Take a look, see if you agree.
