What is RSS?
RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. It is a technology for sharing Web content. Fly53 currently uses RSS version 2.0 and offers several RSS feeds, each of which contains a headline and a link back to Fly53.com for the full story. RSS feeds are free.
How do I use RSS?
With a web browser
To use RSS with a web browser look for the orange button in the address bar in the navigation panel in your browser. Clicking on the icon should allow you to add a special type of Bookmark or Active Link that will download our RSS feeds.
With a news reader or aggregator
There are a number of different news readers, many of which are available for free. Most news readers are free-standing applications that you download and install, while others are Web-based services that work with your browser.
After installing the RSS news reader, you can add each feed manually by clicking on the orange "RSS" button next to the type of news you want. Follow the directions for your specific news reader on how to add feeds.
